Shipping policy

Where we ship: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, select European Union countries, and Australia — for all products, both pre-built and custom.
Processing time
Pre-built configurations: one to three (1–3) business days from order confirmation to ship-out.
Custom builds: five to ten (5–10) business days from order confirmation to ship-out, depending on component availability and queue length. We'll email you a build status update at assembly and at testing.
If a component is on backorder, we will contact you within one (1) business day with options (substitute, wait, or refund).
Shipping methods, costs & customs
United States
We ship via FedEx and UPS Ground for the contiguous United States. Expedited 2-day and overnight options are available at checkout. Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico incur additional freight charges and ship via priority air freight.
Canada
We ship via UPS Standard or FedEx International Ground. Transit time is typically four to eight (4–8) business days after handoff. The buyer is responsible for all Canadian import duties, GST/HST/PST, and brokerage fees. We provide accurate commercial invoices and HS codes to minimize customs delays.
United Kingdom & European Union
We ship via DHL Express International or FedEx International Priority. Transit time is typically three to seven (3–7) business days after handoff. The buyer is responsible for all import duties, VAT, and customs fees unless the order is shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), where duties and VAT are calculated and collected at checkout. EU shipments are available to: Ireland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Austria. Other EU countries are available on request.
Australia
We ship via DHL Express International or FedEx International Priority. Transit time is typically four to nine (4–9) business days after handoff. The buyer is responsible for all Australian import duties and GST unless the order is shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP).
Shipping cost is calculated by weight, dimensions, and destination, and shown at checkout. Prices are listed in USD; your local currency is shown at checkout.
Packaging
All PCs are shipped in double-boxed packaging. We use expanding Instapak foam and custom-cut cardboard bracing inside the case to immobilize the GPU and any other components that could shift in transit. By default, the GPU ships installed in the motherboard. If you would prefer your GPU removed and packaged separately (with reinstallation instructions included), let us know in your order notes or email support@macchinamods.com before your build ships. Builds over $1,500 USD ship with full declared-value insurance at no extra charge, domestic or international.
Delivery and signature
All orders require adult signature on delivery. We are not responsible for theft from unattended porches. If you miss delivery, the carrier will hold the package for pickup or attempt redelivery per their policy.
Damage in transit
Inspect your package upon delivery. If the box shows visible damage, note it with the carrier driver before signing if possible. Photograph the packaging and contents before unboxing further. Report transit damage to support@macchinamods.com within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery. We will file the carrier claim on your behalf and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund. Damage reported after seventy-two (72) hours may not qualify for a no-cost remedy.
International returns & warranty
Returns and warranty service for all regions follow our Return & Refund Policy and Warranty Policy, with these shipping-specific notes:
- Pre-built PCs are eligible for the standard 30-day return window in every region we serve. As set out in the Return & Refund Policy, customers in the UK, EU, and Australia pay return shipping on change-of-mind returns; we pay it for US and Canada orders, and for faulty or incorrect items everywhere.
- Custom builds are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, but remain covered if they arrive faulty, dead-on-arrival, or damaged in transit.
- For valid in-warranty repairs, we cover return shipping back to you, and will reimburse documented inbound shipping up to a reasonable cap for confirmed defects.
- Import duties, VAT, and customs fees already paid are non-refundable by us; whether they can be reclaimed is determined by your country's customs authority.
